Accessibility Statement

The Society is committed to a website that can be used comfortably by everyone, including visitors who rely on assistive technology.

Our approach

This website is built to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That commitment shapes colour contrast, text sizing, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, form labelling, and the structure of headings and landmarks.

Content is written in plain, direct language. Documents published as downloads are accompanied by an accessible web page wherever possible.

Known limitations

Some historical documents in the archive originate as scanned or legacy files and may not yet meet the same standard. These are being reviewed and replaced with accessible versions over time.

Report a barrier

If you encounter a page, document, or feature that is difficult to use, please tell us. Include the page address and a short description of the difficulty, and write to sofcny@gmail.com.

The Society reviews accessibility reports and responds as promptly as possible.
